this weeks show... as ever on Resonance104.4FM (central London, UK), 5-6.30pm, Wed Sept 14, 2005 - also streaming from Resonance site
our live guests this week are a new streamlined Econoline - now a 2-piece - sounds like it's going to be a much more stripped down thing than the Econoline of old with Piers and Ian playing all sorts of things.
we also welcome Rupert Orton from punkrockblues.co.uk/Not the Same Old Blues Crap to present a pre-recorded interview with the Immortal Lee County Killers who are in town for a show tomorrow (15/9) at the Spitz. check Rupert site for info.
not much bag info today - but it will have in it the new Snowblood CD, more Failsafe cdrs from NZ, the Davenport Family (5x 3") box set, new releases on Mandolin Records and much more....
the recently returned Howard Aggregate will be back with us again - an unexpected literary treat is assured.
presented this week by Chin Keeler, Kev Head and Roxanne Stephen - maybe Charlene Katuwawala and Howard Monk as well.

hopefully some of you tuned in last week and caught splendid live sets from both Panda Bear and Signer...
this week we welcome the Phil Collins 3 (http://www.tpc3.co.uk) in for a live set - witnessed this Brighton-based 'nutcore' outfit live at an all-dayer at the Rhythm Factory late last year and knew more should be heard, news followed of a split 7" with Hey Colossus coming on Victory Garden records. this single has a London launch gig next Tuesday 25th January at Infinity, 10 Old Burlington Street, W1 (nr Saville Row, short walk from Piccadilly Circus), £5 in, bands between 8 and 10.30, club til 3 - both Hey Colossus and the Phil Collins 3 will be playing, don't miss it!
also in are Isobel and Emma from new paper/mag 'High Horse' - to talk about it and play some tunes
this weeks show probably presented by Chin Keeler, Roxanne Stephen, Vicki Churchill and Kev Head (if i'm better) - hopefully more from Howard Aggregate too
in the bag - some Airplane to celebrate the life of Spencer Dryden who died last week, more from the Original Beekeepers cassette, maybe something from the 'Original Buskers' comp (Stephen Foster Pilkington perhaps), something from current fave discs by the Franciscan Hobbies & 1 Mile North/Colophon/Wind-Up Bird on the Music Fellowship and much more...
guests due in coming weeks include William Elliott Whitmore (next week), a specially recorded session from Jonson Family artistes Reigns which we nearly played a couple of weeks back, the Priscillas (3rd time lucky), Northern California's premier all female psychobilly band Thee Merry Widows and Richard Thomas
