gLASSsHRiMP radio: wed Feb 23, 2005
news of this weeks show - gLASSsHRiMP show, Resonance 104.4FM, Wednesday 23rd Feb, 5 - 6.30pm ...
our live band this week are the Priscillas - "they'll grab you by the ears and rock you until your change shakes from your pockets - imagine The Shangri-Las crossed with the pounding beat of The Sweet, the naughty sass of The Go-Gos and the 'ONETWOTHREEFOUR' fury of The Ramones, played by four ladies with the biggest hair in town, then you've got it." - have a look at their splendid website - debut 7" 'Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph' is out at the end of March on Damaged Goods - they play this Friday 25th Feb at the Dirty Water Club, Tufnell Park, London with 'Northern California's original all female psychobilly band' Thee Merry Widows.
we are also expecting Reg from Bastardizer extreme metal 'zine in to talk about it and hopefully turn us on to some new extreme tunes! (looking forward to this)
bag contents pretty vague at the minute - Abstract Keal Agram, Growing (last album on vinyl at last!), Low, the Last of the Real Hardmen, Geisha, Stinking Lizaveta, Craclebox, Mek Obaam are all possibilities at the minute....
presented this week by Roxanne Stephen, Chin Keeler, Kev Head and Charlene Katuwawala

gLASSsHRiMP radio: wed Feb 9, 2005
2 live music guests today in what promises to be a packed show...
Richard Thomas will be performing live for us - an eccentric mix of music, sounds, spoken word, comedy and more. Richard has been a performing artist/musician for many years and has numerous documents of his multi-instrumental music output on Lo Recording and the Leaf Label.
we also welcome Don Nino - aka Nicolas Laureau - from France with his band - Don Nino has recently released his 3rd(?) album 'On The Bright Scale' on Prohibited Records - album is a beautiful mix of multi-instrument acoustic based songs, both soft and black - should be a treat with the full band.
in the bag: mostly gear unplayed last week! - expect Cracklebox, Reigns, Xenis Emputae Travelling Band, the Cone Bearers, Culver....
todays show will be brought to you by Roxanne Stephen, Kev Head, Howard Monk and Charlene Katuwawala.
Howard Aggregate will return mid-March!
