this weeks gLASSsHRiMP show, Resonance 104.4FM, Wednesday 2nd March, 5 - 6.30pm ...
we have live music from Napoleon III, aka Leeds maverick Jamie Mabbet - a 'one-man band' by all accounts (guitar/keyboards/sampler et al) - previously worked as Little Japanese Toy (releases on Shifty Disco off-shoot Star Harbour) - we played a track from his 1st new recordings a couple of weeks back - some touring is happening, London dates tbc - 'a musical car boot sale'.
we also welcome Lewis Durham (from Kitty, Daisy & Lewis) who is coming in to spin some of his 78s from the '40s & '50s - he will be assisted by shellac handler (& sister) Kitty - the discs will be played on Lewis' 1956 Philips AG3301 player.
Howard Aggregate returns after a shorter than expected break - we're in for a treat i'm sure
we may have additional live music from Elephant Micah - hopefully Joe can make it back in for his 2nd visit in recent weeks fingers crossed!
in the bag - Last of the Real Hardmen lathe cut on Lone Hand, new Mek Obaam 7" on Earsugar, Geisha, Stinking Lizaveta, Misterlee...
show presented by Chin Keeler, Kev Head & Charlene Katuwawala
coming soon sessions from the Naysayer (already recorded), Giddy Motors, Misterlee, Stinking Lizaveta - rumours of many more...
